Butterscotch Cookies

Every Christmas my Nanna(mother’s mother) would bring a tin of her butterscotch cookies and put the tin under our tree. I would slip under the tree and feast on the cookies. It was one of my favorite memories of Christmas in Lake Mohawk where I grew up.

Ingredients

1 Cup butter (melted and cooled)

1 Cup white sugar

1 Cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp Milk

1 Egg

1 Tsp Baking soda

1 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Cinnamon

3+ Cups Flour

Preparation & Cooking Instructions

Combine butter and sugars

Sift together: flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda

Add to sugar mixture

Add egg and milk

Mix together

Roll out and cut with cookie cutters

Bake @ 350 until light brown
