Wacky Cake

My maternal great-grandma or grandmother would always bring this cake to any family gathering. For me, it came to represent family, fun, and comfort. To this day, when I make it, it reminds me of all those great memories.

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cup Flour

1 Cup Sugar

1/2 Cup Cocoa

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Tbsp Vinegar

1 Tsp Vanilla

2/3 Cup Oil

1 Cup Cold water

Preparation & Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350.

Grease a 9 x 13 pan.

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt

Add vinegar, oil, vanilla, and water and beat until smooth

Pour into greased pan

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
