Mocha Rum Nog

This drink is a holiday tradition that brings me home every time I have it.

Ingredients

1 qt Dairy Egg Nog

1 qt Chocolate flavored milk

1 Cup Whipping cream

1/3 Cup Rum

1/3 Cup Creme de Cacao (or coffee liquor but it isn’t as good)

1 Tbsp Instant coffee crystals

Shaved chocolate

Preparation & Cooking Instructions

In a saucepan combine eggnog, milk, 1/2 cup whipping cream, rum, creme de cacao, and instance coffee. Heat through. DO NOT BOIL.

Pour into heatproof carafe or pot.

Beat remaining whipping cream to soft peaks. Dollop over each serving and sprinkle with shaved chocolate.

Makes about ten 7 ounce servings.
